Today, I post some sketches based on and inspired by my research from cultural event, the Autumn Festival to be exact. The festival is based on a legend of the moon rabbit.
The legend tells the story of a rabbit who sacrificed himself to be eaten by a poor beggar, who turned out to be Buddha. Touched by his kindness, Buddha moved the rabbit to the moon palace.

Neat base concept (love the charming little bunny tea-cakes). It looks like you are repositioning the story onto a young vendor or participant in the Autumn Festival? For the next post (due 17th), write (or storyboard) your idea for the story. Tell us who the person is. What is his/her connection to the festival and the story of the rabbit?
Looking forward to watching your idea grow!
